In 1980, Gilles and Régis left the village cooperative to become Récoltant-Manipulant. They needed to find a place to produce their champagne, and it was clear they would build the underground cellars on the old 18th-century family farm.

Through a tour of our cellars, come discover the secrets of our champagne production, from harvest to bottle labeling.
A member of the Mathelin team will be pleased to open the doors to a privileged space where over 250,000 bottles slowly age.
Afterwards, you will be offered a tasting of our champagnes.

Champagne Mathelin welcomes you Monday to Friday from 9 AM to 12 PM and from 2 PM to 5 PM, and on Saturdays by appointment.
