A “homage” cuvée to Lucien Mathelin (1920-2020).
Champagne crafted from the 3 Champagne grape varieties.
Chardonnay: 50%
Characterized by delicate floral, citrus, and sometimes mineral notes.
Pinot Meunier: 30%
Provides freshness and lightness to the champagne. The bouquet is intense and fruity. This variety adds roundness during blending.
Pinot Noir: 20%
Distinguished by red fruit aromas and a marked structure. Brings body and power to the blend.
Color: light yellow with golden highlights.
Appearance: fine bubbles with an elegant and discreet mousse.
Nose: subtle and indulgent with aromas of candied peach.
Palate: full-bodied and velvety, recapturing the generosity of the pleasures of yesteryear.
Food pairing: with its generous dosage, it is the ideal accompaniment for cheese platters.
Serving temperature: 8°C.
